Surrounded by 60 acres of Sussex countryside and ancient woodland, our whitewashed timber lodge pays homage to traditional local architecture, with interiors inspired by the Bloomsbury Group and nearby Charleston

Kiln Bar

The heart of the lodge, this is a place for meeting, drinking and dining, with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace clad in individually hand-painted tiles, and a large oval bar

Poplar Hall

Hosting up to 195 for a seated meal and 300 for drinks receptions, our largest space features elegant chandeliers, vaulted metal doors, niches along the walls, and a bespoke frieze, designed by Sussex-based artist, Tess Newall

The Apartment

A place to retreat before a big event, or break out for brainstorming sessions. Split over two levels, there’s a round bath and hair-washing station downstairs, and comfy seating and help-yourself snack baskets upstairs.

 

Alder Room

Flooded with natural light, this space has a barn-like feel inspired by traditional English architecture, with exposed beams and basketweave flooring. It can fit 105 guests for seated dining, and 180 for ceremonies and presentations

Green Club

An intimate low-ceiling speakeasy, combining opulent chandeliers and antique mirrored walls. This space is for cosy private dining, after-hours drinks and late-night dancing.
